Bjørn has a long experience from the energy and construction business, from strategic business development, company management, construction and project management..

He has held key positions as Project Director, Engineering Manager and Contract Manager for the Norwegian industrial companies Aker and Kvaerner and has spent most of his professional career within the energy industry.

Bjørn brings expertise in strategic management, international business and contract research and he was Executive Vice President of the research organisation SINTEF, as well as holding director posts at two of its institutes. He is a Professor with Project and Contract Management at NTNU in Trondheim and sits on the board of several limited companies. Bjørn holds Dipl. Engineering and Dr. Engineering degrees from the TU Braunschweig in Germany.
